ginkageI know some folks on my flist have had less than pleasant winters. Ice, snow, you name it they've had it.
Here in the valley? Outside of the bitter cold spells we've had I can almost forget that it's winter. What snow we've had is gone in a few hours. It's kinda depressing.
Take today: We were originally warned of getting an inch of snow today. Now... there's a 40% chance of snow and it's in the low 40s. *sigh*
What I said to Dad during the trip to Missouri is true: I have to leave home to get winter. We almost didn't make it through WV coming home because of the snow and wind.
Can't I just see one snow for a couple of hours when I can be home and enjoy the pretty? Do I need to move back to DC just for winter?
