Well, work certainly does know how to force my hand on some decisions.
I only worked two days this week. Two.
Now I'm scheduled for one day next week. One. Singular. Not plural. *headdesk*
Most of our clients decided to shift their inventories to Sept-Oct. I put in for some time off in September and... well... this is time off I've been planning on since MarCon. If I don't get it, well, that's a last straw.
Add to this the fact that, come November, we essentially shut down. There are no inventories from November to sometime in January because of the holidays. I can't go that long without working and there is no certainty that I could get a spot in the interim warehouse work that RGIS does for Crutchfield and Plow and Hearth.
Going to put in a resume tomorrow or Friday for a job that could pay $10.75 an hour.
