Okay. I'll admit, I'm still very scared about Hurricane Katrina.

However...I refuse to give up hope that there will be an optimistic outcome to any of this.

Lake New Orleans? Well...history can't be replaced, but things can be rebuilt. It takes time, it takes money, it takes effort.

Gas prices? Why buy tonight? You're going to have to buy again in 2-5 days anyway, is it going to be different then?

Why worry? It's going to happen, just be ready to deal with the aftermath. No chance of preventing any of this.

Have some hope for the future, though.

Ya know...I'm not anywhere near the Gulf Coast and Katrina STILL scares me. My thoughts and prayers are with anyone in that area or within the area of effect.

This is not going to be an easy time by any stretch of the imagination.

Be safe. Check in when you can. I've studed more about hurricanes in my lifetime than a lot of people might realize. This is going to be ugly. So far...this is going to be worse than Andrew and Florida. This is going to be almost as bad as Camille. Look both of them up.
